The courier delivery can be a little hit or miss. So if you are purchasing for an event makes sure you coordinate with the delivery service. Otherwise would have been a 5 star review.

⭐️ Very disappointing subscription experience
I ordered a 3-month butter tart subscription as a gift. My invoice was $71.32, and I paid $32.87. I received ONE box and nothing after that.
I repeatedly contacted Carla’s Cookie Box for 2 months and received generic responses that didn’t address the problem. Their website continued showing the remaining boxes as pending/being prepared, with no clear explanation.
I finally received a response saying their system only charged me $32.87 and that this was for the one box I received. But if that’s the case, why was my original 3-month invoice $71.32? The $38.45 difference has still not been properly explained.
Mistakes happen, but customers should be notified when there is a payment or subscription issue. Instead, I was left believing my 3-month subscription was being fulfilled.
Poor communication, confusing billing, and a very frustrating customer service experience.

I was looking forward to getting these as I’m a big butter tart fan. The pastry of the tarts is crumbly and disappointing. I don’t find the flavour of the tarts very tasty. Will not purchase these again.

These plain butter tarts are extremely addictive.
I always bring a pack or two to work with me and I've actually had a coworker tell me that its the first time they have had a desert taste so decadent

Hi the tarts were very good.

The butter tarts arrived as promised with a cooler pack. I was able to keep them in the fridge for a while until I enjoyed them with a friend of mine who loves butter tarts! We both found them delicious. As my friend said it was the perfect amount of filling and crust.

OMG, I bought the fatties, the regular chocolate chip cookies and the tarts and they were absolutely scrumptious.My diabetic husband who is not a big sweet eater couldn’t resist them either. Definitely worth the money and will be ordering again

Delicious tarts, but really poor customer service. When I emailed to say that part of my order was missing, I was presented with an impossible set of conditions to satisfy. Specifically, they demanded a photo of the package after it was opened but before it was unpacked. Seriously? How am I supposed to have that, especially when it takes a day or two to get an email in response? Nice loophole for never having to address a missing item.

Received in excellent shape . Very well packaged.

Everything was well packaged and arrived with zero breakages or losses. It also survived the summer heat during transit. Would 100% buy from here again.

I received the first month’s delivery, but nothing after that.
I have contacted Carla’s Cookie Box multiple times about the missing deliveries. Unfortunately, the responses I have received have been generic, seemingly AI-generated messages that don't actually address the problem or tell me when the products I already paid for will be shipped.
What makes this even more frustrating is that I can see the subscription/order information on their website. It shows that the second month was pending and apparently being prepared, but it was never shipped or delivered. Now the third month is showing as being scheduled as well, while I still haven't received the second delivery and have received no meaningful response from the company.
At this point, I have paid for three months and received only one.
I understand that shipping delays and mistakes can happen. What I find unacceptable is paying upfront for a subscription, not receiving what was purchased, and then being ignored when trying to resolve the issue. A generic automated response is not a solution when the specific issue is that paid-for products have not been delivered.
I’m leaving this review because I think customers should know what my experience has been before purchasing a subscription. I hope Carla’s Cookie Box addresses this and either fulfills the subscription that I paid for or provides an appropriate refund.

Buying from the site right down to the tracking and delivery of the tarts. They were carefully packaged to avoid breakage

Almost no accountability and poor customer service. Package came over a week late and were too warm from sitting outside (waste of money paying for the cooling sleeve packaging) and frankly could not rate the butter tarts as they were past their best. Overall, not worth the money and will never buy from them again.
