Make a Difference

Carla’s Cookie Box dedicates her time to making a difference.
On August 17, 2019, at 4:38 pm on a beautiful sunny day, tragedy struck our family when my brother, Paul Brizzi, was killed by a drunk driver. There isn’t a day that goes by that our family isn’t affected by this tragedy. In June 2020, my eldest daughter was to be the first (of the 2nd generation) in our family to graduate High School. It is just another reminder that Paul will be absent. Couple that with the turn in world events and thousands of students across the country in university, college, grade 8 & 12, missed something that should have been an amazing, a once in lifetime experience. Our MADD campaign was born out of the necessity to help spread awareness about the perils surrounding impaired driving.  A FUN Grad t-shirt and a way to raise money and create awareness that Impaired Driving is NEVER an option.

How do I Choose My Pick up / Shipping Date?

Upon Checkout (just before you add your credentials), there is a section to choose to ship or pick up.
Once you select your preference, there is a drop-down calendar to choose your pick-up/ SHIPPING date.
Across Canada and the USA, We DO NOT want your cold-packed baked goods sitting in a UPS warehouse; therefore, we DO NOT ship out on a Friday.

We are not a walk-in storefront; therefore, we have put together a step-by-step instruction guide on How to Order Online.

If you cannot choose your shipping date, we do not ship that particular item to your location, it is past the cutoff time, or we are not delivering that item to your area on that day.
We CAN NOT guarantee a specific drop-off time for our deliveries as our local drivers drive for many local businesses and are out delivering all day and evening. For more information on deliveries, CLICK HERE.

How Do I Store My Products?

What do I do with my extras?

For best practice, store your products in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 7 days.
If you plan on saving it longer than that, then place it in an airtight container and freeze it for up to 8 weeks in a fridge freezer.

Do You Offer Gluten-Free?

We have currently suspended our gluten-friendly products.

Do You Offer Nut-Free Products?

We Are a Little Nutty Here
Although we have products that do not have nuts, we ARE NOT nut-free.
Our Pecan Butter Tarts will continue to be our most popular item, and we make them often; sometimes, on the days, we create products that do not have nuts in them.
Always consult your physician before purchasing Carla’s Cookie Box Products if you have an allergy.
Some of the nuts we use in our kitchen include but are not limited to: pecans, walnuts, peanuts, and hazelnuts (Nutella).
We also have Tree nuts, wheat, dairy, cocoa, chocolate, soy, and other known allergies.

Do You Use Animal Lard?

We DO NOT use any animal lard in our butter tarts or any of our other products. 
Our ingredients across the board of our collections include Butter, Flour, Brown Sugar, vegetable shortening, eggs, chocolate, cocoa, maple syrup, salt, pecans, skittles, walnuts, peanut butter, peanuts, pretzels, strawberries, blackberries and many other products.
However, note that marshmallows in our hot cocoa bombs have gelatine, as do some of the gummies used in our chocolate smash products.

Our 3-month and 6-month Award Winning Gourmet Butter Tarts Subscriptions make a GREAT gift.
How it Works
When you sign up for a butter tart subscription, we will send you your first month’s subscription immediately, or on the date you indicate. Subscriptions will then follow once a month for 3 or 6 consecutive months.

How Much Is Shipping?

We charge based on the weight and location of your shipment.
Typically a flat fee of $15 to Ontario, $17 to Quebec, $22-24 to British Colombia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, $60 to Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut, and roughly $25 to the USA.
As our products are very delicate, we take EXTRA precautions when packing your items to deter any breakage and maintain freshness in your orders.

Where Do You Ship?

We Ship All Across Canada + USA.
We vacuum seal EVERYTHING we ship. It will keep your product fresh and safe upon arrival (even if it is slightly delayed).
Your tracking number can be found in your account, so sign up for one. If you don’t sign up for an account, you can still access your information by typing in your email address in the account section and clicking “forgot password.” You will then get an email to pick a new password.

How Long Does it Take to Receive My Order?

Although we provide next-day shipping, once it gets into the shipping company’s hands, it is out of our hands. We will send you a tracking number to see where your order is.
