Carla’s Cookie Box returned to the Barrie Butter Tart Festival on Saturday, July 12, 2025 for another unforgettable year. With perfect weather, incredible foot traffic, and loyal tart fans lining up from open to close, this event proved once again thatBarrie loves its butter tarts.

Situated along the vibrant lakefront downtown core, this annual butter tart festival in Barrie draws thousands of tart lovers from across Simcoe County and beyond. With food trucks, handmade goods, and Canada’s top tart vendors all in one place, it’s a destination summer event — and we were thrilled to be part of it.
