After several years away, Carla’s Cookie Boxmade a heartfelt return to the Fergus Butter Tart Festival – ACE on Saturday, July 5, 2025. From the moment the doors opened, it was clear this small-town gem missed us just as much as we missed it. Thank you to all the Fergus locals, families, and longtime customers who made the trip to see us — this day reminded us exactly why we do what we do.

Nestled in the heart of Wellington County, the Fergus Butter Tart Festival is a sweet celebration of one of Canada’s most iconic desserts. This family-friendly event brings together butter tart lovers from across the region — and this year, we were proud to be part of the delicious lineup once again.

🍁 A Warm Welcome Back to Fergus

This year’s festival felt extra special — it marked our first return to Fergus after several years away, and the response was overwhelming. Some of our followers drove from Guelph, Kitchener, and even as far as Toronto just to see us in person. We heard things like:

“I’ve been waiting YEARS to have your tarts again!”
“You’re the reason I came to Fergus today.”

And we agree — there’s nothing quite like a butter tart made by hand, using real Canadian ingredients, with just the right balance of gooey filling and crisp, buttery crust.
